Searching for Whimsy​

Time is money!!!

In the RV Parts Biz, we tend to focus on the repair parts. These are the parts that need replacement every year. Outside/indoor plastics break down. Best sellers, lowest profits, everyone sells them.

Search out whimsical items. Sometimes a bit of folly is just what is needed and may be what is highly searched for. Many individuals are living full time in their rigs. Space saving items are higher-profit margin, but may lower quantity in sales.

A profitable company should look at balancing quick movers with higher margins. If net profits were equal, I would rather sell 1 item a day with a higher margin, than 10 items of a lower margin. It simply takes a worker more time to print, pick, sort, qualify, pack and ship 10 items than 1 single item. Time is money!!!
