The Soccer Mom, Hero of the Online Workspace!

I'm a firm believer that the soccer mom is the most underutilized individual in the workplace. From managing homes, school schedules, dinner, drop offs/pickups, and disaster recovery. The soccer mom can make anything happen. But what jobs are available for the soccer mom from 9am-3pm? While most business overlook the part-time employee, a perfect position with a completely untapped employee pool is the soccer mom. Many moms are available during the school day and listing products for your company online could benefit you both.

Tip:

Almost anyone with a computer connection can list products on Amazon and eBay! The work is easily trackable and time can be flexible. Consider paying employees per accurate listing.

Here’s one way of how to do it:

1. Create an online/editable list of parts you want listed or repriced (Google Sheets). This can be created from distributor information containing prices, dimensions, weights and availability.

2. Create pricing/shipping parameters and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) document.

3. After listing, employee provides the link to product in Google sheets.

4. Track listings based on links.

5. Make sales from listings!!!
